Cowlitz County is accepting applications from public and nonprofit organizations for Large Grant Events and Project funding that supports tourism within the County. This program supports larger-scale projects that generate overnight stays and fall outside the scope of the Small Grants Program.
Funding is supported by lodging tax revenues collected from hotel and motel stays in Cowlitz County. Awards will be made on a competitive basis.

- Application Deadline: March 25, 2026 – 4:30 p.m.
- Award Notifications: April 17, 2026
- Funds Available: On or about May 1, 2026
- Project Completion Deadline: December 15, 2027

Yes. Applications may be submitted for more than one project, provided each application is for a unique project.
