Harry Gardner Park is a 65 acre park along the South Toutle River. It was destroyed by the Mt. St. Helens Eruption and has been recently brought back to life with similar amenities to pre-eruption.
Camping area offers 11 RV sites and 11 tent campsites

- The park also offers hiking trails, playground equipment and easy access to the South Toutle River for fishing and swimming.
Set in a quiet forest, in an old homestead, the park offers a convenient base for sightseeing, hiking and biking the Mt. St. Helens area. Kid Valley Campground is also located close to fishing opportunities at nearby lakes and the famous Toutle River.
Winter activities include hunting, crosscountry skiing, and snowmobiling in the nearby area, including the Toutle state forest, with 35,000 acres open to snowmobiling.
We are located adjacent to the Toutle River and a few miles from the Green River, both of which have recovered from the volcanic mud flows and offer great salmon and steel-head fishing. We are a short drive from fly-fishing at Coldwater Lake and bass and trout fishing in Silver Lake. Year around elk viewing is popular on the road to Mount St. Helens and hunting in the Winston, Toutle, Coweeman and Margaret units are nearby, too. Call for special hunting season rates.

Seaquest State Park is owned and operated by the State Of Washington. Seaquest State Park is a nature lovers retreat. Among the popular activities are bird watching (more than 13 species), mammal watching (more than 8 species including foxes and bears), sea and sea life watching in Silver Lake, tree identification (8 major species), wildflower identification (more than 10 native plant types) and visiting the Mount St. Helens Visitor Center. The visitor center is located across the highway from Seaquest State Park and is accessed via a tunnel that runs under the highway. At only 6.6 miles east of Interstate 5 (I-5), Seaquest is as easily accessible for an overnight stay as it is for a week long stay. Limited services and shopping is available in Castle Rock. Boundary Trail #1 to Norway Pass (SR 504 Side)

- Difficulty: Moderate to Challenging – steady uphill climb with some rocky sections.
- Elevation Gain: Around 2,500 feet to 4,200 feet at Norway Pass.
- Best Season: Late spring to fall (May to October), avoid winter and early spring due to snow.
