DESCRIPTION:Every drama group has experienced the horrors of what can go wrong on opening night\, and the ladies of the F.A.H.E.T.G. Dramatic Society are no different\, with the possible exception that almost everything that could happen does! The scenery collapses\, cues are missed\, lines forgotten\, and the sound effects take on a strange note at times\, as the ladies present their ambitious evening’s entertainment with the cunning whodunit\, “Murder At Checkmate Manor.” And just in case the audience should get bored there’s a Film and Fashion Show and Murder Mystery Quiz\, complete with a Prize! The crunch comes in the denouement when the “murderer”\, about to be revealed\, has to rush home to bandage up an injured daughter. But Mrs. Reece\, doyenne of the group\, rises above the slings and arrows of outrageous dramatics to save the situation and provide the final inventive twist. \n\n\n\nWritten by David McGillivray and Walter Zerlin Jr.

Highlights of his career include; supporting act for Ziggy Marley and today’s biggest voice of flamenco Diego El Cigala. He was a featured artist in Coors Light’s national campaign My Climb\, My Music and a featured artist at the Guitar: The Instrument that Rocked the World exhibit at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science. He participated in the International Guitar Festival in Zihuatanejo\, Mexico. \n\n\n\nBorn in Mexico City\, his early studies on guitar included rock\, jazz & blues. In 2000 he relocated to Los Angeles where he immersed himself in the LA music scene where he got the need to create something unique and more authentic\, launching him to study flamenco guitar in Seville\, Spain. This transition gave El Javi the inspiration to develop his own sound. DESCRIPTION:‘Disenchanted!‘ had its first workshop in 2009 at Pearl Studios in NYC.  Over 700 women auditioned for 11 roles and the 1-night-only event (in which songs from the show were performed without script) played to a sold-out house\, a standing ovation and was immediately extended.  The journey to Off-Broadway began! \n\n\n\nIn 2012\, ‘Disenchanted!‘ had its first Off-Broadway reading at the Peter Jay Sharp Theatre at Playwrights Horizons in NYC.  The songs from the show were also featured in a showcase at Don’t Tell Mama Cabaret Theatre on Restaurant Row that summer.​ \n\n\n\n‘DIS!‘ – as the show is affectionately known for short – opened in a limited-engagement run Off-Broadway in NYC at the Theatre @ St. Clement’s in December of 2014 and then transferred to an open-ended run at the Westside Theatre in 2015. \n\n\n\nThe show played to rave reviews and positive press from the Huffington Post\, New York Times\, NBC-TV\, CBS-TV\, New York Post\, BroadwayBlog\, New York Observer!
