Big Smoke in Little Kalama

Day 2 Hours: 10 AM – 6 PM music until 7 PM

10 AM

It’s 10:00 am and you can smell the sweet aroma of BBQ in the air! Teams are focused on turning in their meat for judging and there will be designated servers ready to sell you some BBQ from 11 AM – 6 PM

Chicken, Ribs, Brisket, and Pulled Pork will be turned in at designated times. Approximately 35 professionally trained judges will score the meats and announce the winners at a private award ceremony. Follow us on facebook @bigsmokeinlittlekalama to see how your favorite teams fared!

Outdoor Market

10 AM

Day 2 of our outdoor market continues with homemade honey, wood crafted goods, bigfoot souvenirs (if you can find them), face painting for the kids and all kinds of hand-crafted goods!

Beer & Wine Garden

11 AM – 7 PM

Ridgefield Craft Brewing is back to wet your whistle. 21+ Only

Last call for alcohol at 6:30 PM – No minors allowed in Beer Garden – NO ALCOHOL allowed outside of beer garden. 

Award Ceremony

5:30 PM

The award ceremony will take place on the stage around 5:00pm. You can also check back here and on our facebook page to see if your favorite BBQ team placed in the competition. The Grand Champion of Big Smoke in Little Kalama is invited to compete in a national competition.  The blind judging is sanctioned by the PNWBA.

END OF DAY 2

6 PM

As winners of the BBQ competition are announced, the Outdoor Market is beginning to close up shop. Last call for the beer garden will be at 6:30pm. Thank you to everyone who attended!
