The Country Folks Deli
(A.K.A. The Cow Deli) opened it's doors in the summer of 1991 with two things: Passion and a family recipe that we all now know as Grandmas Bread.

Our vision is to provide our community with not only a comfortable, clean atmosphere, with a friendly staff, but to also offer the freshest product of the highest quality to our customers!

Every morning the kitchens of The Country Folks Deli are overwhelmed  with the aromas of fresh baked breads, homemade soups and oven roasted turkey. If that's not enough to entice you, stop by and try one of our many different pies that are made fresh every morning. From coconut cream to Marion berry and rhubarb, you are sure to find your favorite!

The friendly staff of The Country Folks Deli serves up to 200 people every afternoon, most of them just asking for "the usual". Whether you join us for our signature grilled chicken pesto sandwich, one of our fabulous fresh salads, or something hot off of the grill, we  guarantee you'll love it!

Grounds for Opportunity (GFO) Cafe is a full service cafe and a training kitchen, offering a 16-week certificated course, preparing students for jobs in the restaurant industry, and serves as CAP’s central kitchen for its Meals on Wheels and Senior Community Lunch programs. We also cater events.

The cafe is located at 413 S. Pacific in Kelso, next to the train station.

Operating hours are Wednesday to Sunday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM

We have a great breakfast and lunch menu with daily specials. Come and enjoy a Starbucks Latte and support job training and meals for seniors at the same time!
