Mount St. Helens Institute
Knowledge, Entertainment and Excitement!
The Mount St. Helens Institute is dedicated to helping people of all ages gain an understanding of the natural processes and cultural heritage of the Pacific Northwest's volcanic landscapes. The Institute offers conservation and science education through a variety of volunteer projects, including volcano volunteers (trained interpreters), mountain stewards (climbing and backcountry volunteers) and conservation projects designed to preserve and promote access to Mount St. Helens National Volcanic Monument. The Institute relies on volunteers for most of its projects and courses. Visit our website for more information: Click here or Email.
