Forest Learning Center
Knowledge, Entertainment and Excitement!
Reforestation and recovery
Located 33.5 miles west of Interstate 5 on State Route 504, the Forest Learning Center is operated by Weyerhaeuser Company and delivers a wealth of information about reforestation efforts in the area after the eruption. The center features a volcano-themed playground, an elk viewpoint, and a multi-media theatre presentation that places visitors in a devastated canyon as St. Helens erupts. We welcome you to visit the Forest Learning Center (seasonal schedule) located just inside the blast zone. Experience this unique story through exhibits, views, trails and a playground the entire family will enjoy!
Admission is free.
Open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. May 15 through October 15.
